Answer to Every January I accrue 120 hours of pto time for the year when I pull up my time card it states accrued 120 hours as of March 10th I had used 72 hours for sickness ect it stated that as of March 9th I had 52 hours left I quit the company on March 9 th and

You are entitled to be paid for the time you worked. Whether you are entitled to the PTO bank depends on the employer's policies. Check the employee handbook (assuming there is one) for the policy.

It does not contain a carve-out for temporary employment.
