Are you obligated to return to an office in person if asked by employer if you were fired after resigning to return equipment ? or can you mail it to employer instead?
Was fired after resigning, then asked to come back to the office to return equipment. ( laptop, chargers, ID) even though it was sent back to employer by priority mail.

I was terminated yesterday for not reporting to work while under doctors orders to remain off of work until Sept. 19th. My employer had the proper documentation from my doctor, as well as speaking to my doctor over the phone. I was still terminated?

Can an employer hire for the same position after they told you it was eliminated due to a reorganization? Isn't there a 6-8 month waiting period to rehire someone for that position?
