Answer to laid off while pregnant

You may have a case

You may have a case, but it depends upon the circumstances surrounding who is being laid off. I would suggest that you obtain a consultation to discuss your facts in greater detail.

Answer to I don't want to lose my insurance license

violation of whistleblower act

If you have complained and/or stated to your employer that you essentially will not break the law as it pertains to being licensed, when in fact you are not, and your employer takes any retaliatory action against you (i.e. demotion or termination)he is violating what is commonly known as the Whistleblower's Act.

Answer to FL employer has not paid severance. I want the money.

severance

severance in florida is contractual in nature, and therefore, if you have proof of the severance amount owed, it is actionable. I actually have similar case taking place right now, and am very familiar with this area of law. Please contact me to discuss further.

Answer to Use Non-Comptete contract to get here way.

your non-compete

I would definitely need to know more about the terms of your non-compete, but generally non-compete/non-disclosure agreements are legal and enforceable since employment is the consideration given as consideration of the contract.
