Can I get unemployment check after making a mistake in saying that I get lay off than fired!?

I was afraid go say in my unemployment application fired so I made a mistake by saying laid off instead of fired. Does that mean I will be rejected meaning I won't get unemployment checks? I was fired in deed but I didn't steal or do anything else really bad. It's just that disagreement and lies acccusations about my boss in regard to my work performance . She says million of lies that is not true . She even denied a copy of my write up which is my right to have a copy? She refuse to give it to me? I communicated w her emails phone calls but still she refuse to give me. Then when I was fired I didn't sign the write up do false accusations because it's not true so i did not sign it. Again she refused to give me a copy. So please help me? Am I gonna get denied w unemployment benefits? I only work for the company for three months? If I get denied in that company can I still get unemployment checks from previous company that I work for for two three years?
