Can a old employer owe me maternity leave pay that i never recieved
I just found out walmart has unclaimed money for me. Its from 2007 when i was employed there. I went on maternity leave but never paid. Could that be what it is.

The statute of limitations in New York State for unpaid wages is 6 years.
Why not call them and ask them? If you are owed money you should collect it with interest hopefully. If you are asked to sign something in exchange for getting the owed money you should pay an employment lawyer to review that document just in case you might be waiving a claim you did not know you had worth more?
