My previous employer called an offered a front office Mgr position. When I went to work the position was not available. The person in the position decided not to leave. So they put me in a surgical position which I am not trained in and not comfortable in. When I advised I was not comfortable in that position they terminated my employment and offered one week severance pay. They pay wages and didn't pay severance pay they offered. I am now out of a job and no severance pay. They have advised me not to contact them when I asked about my severance pay. What can I do to collect the money I need to live on until I find another job. Only worked there two weeks. Please advise. Thank you.
