Forced to leave because of a hostile environment - do I have cause for a suit?

I was recently forced to leave my job due to the incredibly hostile environment at work. My employer was well aware of the situation , ( caused by another employee ) and I am wondering if I have cause for a lawsuit.

It depends on why the environment was hostile.

It depends on why the environment was hostile. Was the other person doing things to you because of sex, race, sexual orientation, etc.? Were the things done aimed at you or just in your environment. I would need more information. Please feel free to email me directly.
