I broke my shoulder 7 weeks ago. And haven't been able to go back to work until released by Doctor. My employer and I agreed on a layoff. Can I collect unemployment?
Cannot return to work until released by Doctors. Could be another two months. If my boss lays me off and I agree, can I collect unemployment?

Maybe. If you're 100% not "able and available to work," then you cannot collect. It will depend on your restrictions, if any. Unemployment is for people who are unemployed and CAN work, not for people who cannot perform any job. You can apply and they will determine your eligibility.
