I want to know if I have a case?
Hi Mel , I have worked at a restraunt for 5 years as a host and cleanning in the mornings, when I cleaned in the mornings I would get harrassed to no end! was called very bad names and was tripped,punched,pushed, ice thrown at me , dirty floor water thron on me, and lots more! this went on for 6 months, went to GM of restraunt he told dish person to stop, he never did things got worst, then went to Dir of the restraunts he could not help he tryed to talk to dish person , and he still harrassed me, I had to quit couldnt take it no more, so im a poor person, went to humane relations here and she said cant help me? asked me what color I was and said sorry cant help me?

That being said, I cannot determine exactly what your question is; however, if you were harassed due to your race, gender, age (over 40), religion, disability, ethnic background or other protected class, then you may have a claim for employment discrimination. You must bring this claim before the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission within 180 days of the discrimination, or before the federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission within 300days of the discrimination.
However, the events you describe may also be assault, battery or tortious infliction of emotional distress. If so, you may have claims that you can bring for personal injury within two years of each event.
