I was being paid under the table and my boss stopped paying me and still owes me a weeks pay
I recently went back to work for an old emmployer. I was in a "Re-hab" and it was about time for me to leave so I needed a job desperetly. She told me she could only pay me "under the table". Needing a job to support myself I accepted. A couple months into my employment my "payments were "short" or late. At one point she was 2 weeks late paying me $200. I went to work and told her I needed my money to pay my late rent and she said I would receive it after I completed a job. She only paid me half. I had lost my place to live and had to move back home. She has since paid me some of my pay owed to me but still owes me some and it has been a month. I no longer work there but need my money...can I go to the labor board?
