Job termination during pregnancy

I'm six months pregnant working with a company since more than 8 months as a Computer Software Engineer. Right now my probation period is going on, as I was moved to another group in January 2002. Earlier I was confirmed in my previous group. Now in new group my manager is giving me the reason of termination my bad performance, while I had good performance review for the same duties from previous group manager. Is this legal according to California's law?

Pregnancy discrimination

Have you in fact been terminated? Did you request a medical leave for your pregnancy? These and other questions need to be explored. If you want, please call me for a telephone consultation. may be pregnancy discrimination

if the poor performance review is a pretext for discrimination, it is illegal. you need evidence establishing that it is more likely you are being fired on account of your pregnancy.
file a claim with your local dept. of fair employment and housing. and call an attorney experienced in employment law. if you are in southern california, call me for an appt.
