I am a hair stylist.I am an employee but my boss 1099 me. He pays me under minimum wage, etc. I am looking for another job, but in the mean time I need to work. He is breaking many rules. I had to take a day off for reason with my son, he wants a doctors note when I return to work, can he do that? It seems like a joke to me.
