My company was goint to wrongfully terminate me and the union stepped in and said they couldn't because i didnt violate policy. They then tried three more write ups before there was something valid. When i mentioned an attorney after i was told the punish

I took a personal phone call and received some very depressing news. I felt I need a reset and i set a 30-minute timer and took a short nap in place of my lunch break. A security guard reported a different person sleeping and I clarified that it was me. My manager was preparing to fire me even though per out Union contract, my lunch is my time to do with as I see fit. They are required to know the contract and were still going to fire me because I was not aware of that part of the contract. Our Union Steward stepped in and stopped the termination. Things got worse from there. After I clarified that it was indeed me and not another employee who was under investigation for the incident, HR failed to reach out or offer employee assistance for another three weeks, and I was set to be demoted and written up even though I didn't violate the contract. Once I expressed that I thought I was being treated unfairly and mentioned my attorney's advice, they then elected to proceed without any punishment or write up. the other employee involved had no knowledge of my nap, only the personal phone call. they were subsequently written up for not escalating the event even though i didn't violate the contract or receive punishment.
