Severance Pay - Breach of Contract
Severance Pay - Calif Was laid off from a Financial Institution due to office closing. Was given a contract to sign for salary continuation pay & benefits. Contract was signed by myself and institution. First payment was to be received on 1/27/17, but 4 days before funds were to be received I was called and told funds would not be available. I was also told that is would take up to 30 days before the regulators would approve these funds. It has now been 2 1/2 months (6 severance cks to be exact) and still no check!
What recourse do I have?
Am I able to collect interest on the back pay?
