Wa State L&I found my former employer to be in violation by classifying me as an independent contractor instead of employee. Plus I was wrongfully terminated and awarded unemployment. It's now time to file my taxes but former employer sent me a 1099 form.

My former employer misclassified me as an Independent contractor, however, L&I has recently changed that because my old boss was calling me that in order to save tax dollars. Well now I need to file my taxes but all I have is a 1099 and that isnt what employees use when filing taxes. What should I do, since L&I basically did nothing except say she was in the wrong and had to pay back wages as well. She also wrongfully terminated me and I was awarded unemployment compensation.
