base pay after 2 week notice and commission pay
I put in my two weeks notice on July 28th. I was then relived of my duties that same day. My employer paid me a pro-rate amount for base salary. Was I supposed to get the full amount of pay for the 2 weeks I gave regardless of me being relieved of my duties the day I gave notice. Also I had a commission plan. The agreement was to be paid a percentage of the net margin on a monthly basis. This is to be paid on the 15th of every month for the prior month. Am I entitled to my commission for the month of July? Also the company was based out of Tennessee but I worked out of my house in Florida.
