older worker severed
factory closing with one year left of current labor contract.have worked there 30 years,am now 50 years old.am i entitled to any benefits other than a very low severence pay?

I am afraid that Indiana gives no protection to its workers in this situation. You are only entitled to the benefits that the company provides to all its workers. Nothing requires the company to offer retirement or severance.
