tampering with production databases
I recently was asked to resign as I was told that I had introduced a change to one of our production databases. This change caused a lengthy period of downtime on a production application/ I freely admit I was logged into this database (which is my job) but I never made the change I was accused of. I want to sue the company for worngful termination. Do I have a case?

If you are classified as an "at-will" employee, as is true for the overwhelming majority of employees in the private sector, you would not have a cause of action for wrongful termination.
