Answer to severance when offered job w/ outsourcer

Severance Pay

An employer is not required to pay severance. If they do choose to offer severance policy it must be reasonable, fair, and nondiscriminatory. I would be happy to review your situation and suggest course of action. Please feel free to contact me at 683.1850 or at acrone@cronemason.com. Answer to TAPED PHONE CONVERSATION

Taped Phone Conversation

Was the other employee also fired? Did your husband have any history of problems at work? Why did the company tape record the call? Did your husband know the call was being taped or that his calls were subject to be taped?

To know if you have a case against the company I need to have the answer to these and other questions. Depending on the answers he may or may not have some recourse. Whether it is me or another attorney he needs to seek legal representation as soon as possible.

Answer to Fired for filing workers compensation claim

Worker's Comp Retailiation

Your husband is entitled to worker's compensation if he "got" carpel tunnel on the job. In any event, it is against the law for his employer to fire him because he filed a claim. I would be glad to discuss this with you or your husband, you most likley have a case for wrongful termination. Please feel free to contact me at 1.800.403.7868 or at acrone@cronemason.com

Answer to homeowners insurance denied claim

Four Wheeler

First you should have a lawyer look at your homeowner's policy to see if there is a basis for a claim against it. Just because the adjuster denies the claim, doesn't necessarily mean you are completely out of luck.

Your obligation to the finance company is not going to be effected by the theft. You need to figure out a way to get your homeowner's policy to pay for it. Go see a lawyer.

If you have more questions or need more information, do not hesitate to contact me at acrone@cronemason.com or 1.800.403.7868. Good luck.
