Discriminatory/Voluntary Termination
I was recently laid-off from a company and was told that job my job was going to another department. Before I left they hired a temp to do my job and that temp is no longer there but now there is a new temp doing the task I use to and my job still hasn't been transfered to the other department. Do you think I have a case?

your question lacks a great deal of information necessary to determine if your termination was discriminatory or wrongful, and if so, whether you have a lawsuit worth pursuing. an attorney experienced in employment law can ask you the right questions to determine if you have a case. many, but not all, will do a potential client questionnaire or interview without charge to you. you can find a qualified attorney in your area by going to the cal employment lawyers association's website, www.celaweb.org.
good luck
