I was accused of sexual harassment against a female employee. I am a female. A happily married straight female.

I had worked for a major company up to April 9th. I am female accused of sexual harassment against another female. Everything was good. I was training in a certain location. The day before I was fired. My Reg Mgr. was making arrangements for my final training class, in another state. The next day I was fired for sexual harassment against a female employee. I was totally dumbfounded. I felt like I was in the twilight zone. It all started with me giving her a pair of shoes! Yep. a pair,shoes. One day she complimented on a pair of shoes I was wearing. I told her I had a pair of shoes that I only worn once. I told her the color. Of course I found out the size. She said she was interested. I also had told I couple of pcs of clothing as well. I am the type person that gives things away all the time. I have been retail for over 25 years. And, up and down on my weight. I did not think anything of it. Anyways. I brought the things in to the office. The following week. I asked her if anything fit or if she liked the items. She said no, they did not fit. And, she gave them away. Which I thought was a little odd. Typically people will give things back. So, I went on to tell her I had this black lace t-shirt type top that I had order from overseas. It was one size fits all. When I recd. Obivoulsly It was not going to fit. So, I had ask her again. Would you be interested. She said yes. It sounds really cute. So, I brought the top to work on the 8th--I think it was the 8th. She said it was really cute. Ok. So, on the 9th. She was wearing a pair of bold blue like stretch type of pants=bluejeans. I went on to tell her I really liked them. That the color was one my favorite colors. And, I used have a pair of jeans and silky blouse from Victoria Secrets. That I just loved, when I was skinny. And, loved the jeans, because they accentuated my behind, like hers. I went on to say that it does matter how much exercise I do. I could never get my behind to look good. Its always been flat. She had looked….and then went on to say that it ran in her family. I went on and said that my sister and her kids, and grandkids were blessed with the same attributes. Then I said…that her husband must like her attributes.
So, at the end of the day. The Director and Regional Manager came in to the office. Called me in. Interrogated me. Asked me what went on that morning. Of course I did not even know what they were even talking about. The Director finally said did you make a comment to someone. After this conversation. She said she did not want this kind of leadership in her region. Then they were picking out little things. Also, the Dir and RM and said that "victim"was thinking about a law suit.
Its funny. I gave the a male employee a baseball cap. I wondered if he thought I was harassing him as well. I am a very giving person. I always try to give my better clothing away to people before I take the clothing to goodwill or putting it on ebay. The night before this had happen. I had ask my husband about giving an 15yr old car to this lady that was a battered wife for 30 yrs. And, just got out of the marriage and did not have the means for a transportation. But, So, maybe you can see how distraught I am by this whole ordeal.

The "victim" had told me earlier that week she was trying to find a lawyer to sue this major food company. Because her kid got sick from drinking moldy drink. Even though this major co. offer to pay for all the medical bills. That was not good enough. In fact she had ask if I knew any lawyers.
