I was given a severance contract that stated 6 weeks of pay with a dollar amount next to it that is double. I signed it not understanding what the dollar amount entailed. The owner of the company also signed it. Today I got a phone call stating the dollar amount was wrong and they want me to sign a new one. Can they do that or is the first package legal because both parties signed it.
