Under many of the federal civil rights acts (Title VII, ADEA, ADA)an aggrieved individual has 300 days from the date of discrimination. For disability discrimination you can file by sending a letter to EEOC which identifies: you, with all contact information; the employer, with the same contact information and estimated number of employees; the discriminatory practice(s) alleged and a very short statement of the facts. If this is sent before the 300th day you should be timely. Under state law you do not have to file a charge. You can go directly to state court under ORC 4112.99 within six years.

You need to see an employment attorney near you now. You can select one at www.oelasmart.net/directory
