It usually depends on whether you're an inside or outside salesperson and, if you're an inside salesperson, the employer's policies.

Answer to I have a non-compete with my present employer. The company is an OH, IT reseller that sells Cisco, and HP/Aruba and WatchGuard equipment. The company has lost its reseller level with all the companies. I f I go to a company that has valid reseller levels

Non-compete agreements are valid in Ohio. I'm assuming you're in Ohio. The question is whether the the non-compete is reasonable in duration and geographic scope and is no greater than necessary to protect the employer's legitimate interests. Without seeing the non-compete it's impossible to provide direction or advice. You need to contact an employment for a consultation.

Answer to If I resign my position, is my employer obligated to provide medical coverage for any length of time

Generally, you'll have until at least 60 days after the date that the resignation would cause loss of coverage, to decide whether to elect COBRA continuation coverage. If the election is made during that period, coverage must be provided from the date that coverage would otherwise have been lost.

Answer to My job tile was eliminated and my pay was cut, but I still do the exact same job and have documents that show the company I work for still referring to me by my old job tile? Is this legal?

Based on the information provided and if you're in the private sector there's nothing illegal about the employer's decision, unless the decision is based on illegal criteria such as race, age, disability, gender, religion, national origin, ancestry, color, family status or military status.

Answer to I was placed at a lower level on a new pay schedule that was adopted by an Ohio county board. I had earned my way to a certain point on the old pay schedule (it took over 20 years to get there). When it was deemed that the old pay scheduled was below mark

An attorney will need more information to advise. Contact a nearby employment attorney to get a consultation. Many offer free consultations.
