Can my company make me reapply for FMLA after it has already been approved?
I recently had a baby and had to take FMLA at work. I received paperwork confirming that FMLA was approved and also from their insurance company for my short term disability. It has now been 4 weeks since my baby was born and I have still not received any disability payments. I spoke to HR and they do not know why I have not been paid and said I may have to reapply. Can they make me wait and go through the process all over again even after everything was approved?

It doesn't sound like your employer is requiring you to reapply for FMLA. It sounds more like you need to contact the disability insurance company to find out what's taking so long.
