Can they hold my paychecks?
I quite my job at the UNNAMED store on Tuesday, September 9,2003 Payday is every Friday. Today, September 22,2003 I went into the store and was told by the store manager that she was given strict orders not to give me my last two paychecks by the UNNAMED store's district manager. The district manager is not reachable by phone, she is on vacation. So my question is, can they really hold my paychecks? I am really confused as what to do from here.

No, the store cannot hold your paychecks. Go to the Texas Workforce Commission and they will collect the money for you.
