Employment Transfer
My employer sent me on a temporary assignment to a NJ facility. After being at the NJ facility for 8 months they told me their was no job to come back to at the NY facility. In the mean time they hired a recent graduate in place in NY. Do I have any rights to my job in NY?

Employment Transfer and Termination
Unless there are a lot more facts to your case, you are probably out of luck. New York is an employment at will state, so that you could be terminated at any time for any reason or no reason at all.
